The Rev. Felix Burrows’ family tries to remember to count their blessings every year.

That’s why Burrows, senior pastor at First United Methodist Church in Ottawa, said his family usually uses the Christmas season to live out the refrain from the song “Count Your Blessings” by Johnson Oatman Jr.
