FRIEDA I. CAYLOR

Frieda I. Caylor, 86, Garnett, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at her residence. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Garnett Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 25, 1923, in Miami County to Faye (McCullough) and Kilby Swearingen.

She married Raymond Lawrence Caylor June 30, 1941, in Ottawa. He preceded her in death July 7, 1993. They shared more than 52 years of marriage together.

She was a homemaker and before her health failed her. She enjoyed reading, embroidery and doing puzzle books.

Survivors include her daughter, Lois Caylor, Garnett; grandchildren, Lisa Marie Caylor, Garnett, Gary Ray Caylor, Blue Mound, and Adam Lee Caylor, Garnett; daughter-in-law, Sue Caylor-Harsch; sisters, Lourean Brassfield, Olathe, and Pauline Bumgarner, Ottawa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, and a son, Raymond LeRoy “Sam” Caylor, in 1989.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, PO Box 14, Ottawa KS 66067.
