Pomona mayor suspends zoning official

POMONA — The air in Pomona City Hall was thick with unspoken emotion Tuesday night when Mayor Joann Hancock delivered her temporary ruling on an issue that’s been ongoing since she took over in April — the zoning administrator.

Hancock announced she was suspending the current administrator, Doug Combs, for living outside of Pomona city limits.
