Arrest follows boy's shooting

A 25-year-old Ottawa man has been arrested in connection with what police have classified as the “negligent” shooting of a 4-year-old boy Friday afternoon in north Ottawa.

The boy’s wound did not appear to be life threatening, authorities said at the scene about 12:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Oak Street.
