Empty Bowls set for February return

The sixth annual Empty Bowls fundraiser to help support local food pantries is scheduled for 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 21 in the Cyclone Room at Ottawa High School, 1120 S. Ash St., Ottawa.

The ceramic bowls are expected to cost $10 each or $30 for a four-ticket family package, Kyliegh Love, OHS student and one of the organizers, said in an email. The bowls will be filled with soup, with bread served on the side.
