Ottawa school board calls special meeting

By The Herald Staff

The Ottawa school board has called a special meeting for 8 a.m. Friday at the Ottawa school district offices, 1404 S. Ash St., Ottawa.

Board members are expected to meet in two executive sessions and then act on staff lists, according to a district representative.

The board previously entered into three executive sessions at Wednesday night’s special meeting. The first was a 25-minute session for attorney-client privilege, the second was a 15-minute session to discuss non-elected personnel, in which Dean Katt, superintendent, and Brian Kraus, assistant superintendent, were involved, and the third was a 30-minute session for attorney-client privilege.
