Musical legend bringing jazz sounds to Ottawa

A New York City jazz legend and one of his now-musically accomplished fans soon will grace Ottawa with their sultry sound.

Saxophonists Jerry Dodgion — who has played with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Benny Goodman and Count Basie — and Rob Scheps are set to offer a free jazz concert 7:30 p.m. April 10 at Ottawa University’s Fredrikson Chapel, 1011 S. Cedar St.
