Family death delays Ottawa superintendent candidate’s arrival

A superintendent candidate who was to be in Ottawa Wednesday now is tentatively scheduled to interview for the school district’s top administrative position next Wednesday.

The candidate had to reschedule because of a death in the family, Teresa Powers, Ottawa school board clerk, said. She said the board tentatively has rescheduled the interview for next Wednesday, but she was awaiting confirmation from the candidate.
