Police: No official ID yet on body

The Ottawa Police Department continues to wait for a positive identification on a 29-year-old woman who was found dead in her apartment Sunday morning in a multi-unit residence at 912 S. Cedar St., Ottawa.

The department had not received a final determination from the medical examiner’s office Wednesday and will not be making an announcement until it receives that official identification, Capt. Adam Weingartner, with the police department, said late Wednesday afternoon.
