Manhunt ends with arrest, but few details

GARNETT — A convicted Franklin County sex offender who has spent time in state prison was arrested Thursday evening at a Garnett residence on a State of Kansas warrant for a parole violation after eluding law enforcement for two days, authorities said.

Dylan Ivey, 25, was arrested about 7:45 p.m. and is being held at the Anderson County Jail in Garnett on a “no-bond” warrant, Vern Valentine, Anderson County sheriff, said in a news release. Ivey was being sought for a parole violation, Valentine said Friday afternoon.
