Governor’s internship program extends application deadline

TOPEKA — The deadline for college juniors, seniors, graduate and law students to apply for the Kansas Governor’s Internship Program has been extended.  Students have until Aug. 30 to submit their applications for the fall internship program.

The program is designed to give students hands-on experience of working in state government and allow students the opportunity to contribute to improving the State of Kansas, according to Gov. Sam Brownback’s office.
