I-35 set for overnight detour

A bridge is coming down, and drivers will have to find another way around.

Demolition work on the existing Homestead Lane Bridge over I-35 in Johnson County is planned for overnight Friday-Saturday with a portion of the interstate highway closed during the process. The closure is set for 7 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Saturday and includes all northbound and southbound I-35 lanes during portions of the work.
