Miss Kansas takes aim at Cornstock

GARNETT — The viewers’ choice for Miss America is set to make an appearance this weekend at the ninth annual Anderson County Corn Festival’s Cornstock.

Miss Kansas, Theresa Vail, is expected to arrive at the festival after 3 p.m. Saturday, Susan Wettstein, administrative assistant for the City of Garnett, said.
