OU sweeps KCAC honors

_e Ottawa University women’s volleyball team swept the KCAC Player of the Week awards from this past week. Radaisy Valdez, Kaitlyn Haller, and Jadore Hayes were named KCAC attacker, setter, and defender of the Week. Four of Ottawa’s five matches this past week were against the NAIA Top 25. Valdez, a sophomore middle, compiled 66 kills, a .228 attacking percentage and 21 blocks. She averaged 3.3 kills per set and 13.2 kills per match. In OU’s win over No. 21 Grand View, Valdez finished with 15 kills and eight blocks. Haller, a senior, had 106 assists and 70 digs in the five matches. She finished the week with four straight double-doubles. Running a 5-2 offense, Haller averaged 5.3 assists per set and 21.2 assists per match. She also averaged 3.5 digs per set and 14 digs per match.
