OU baseball sweeps top-10 foe
It was a quite a weekend for The Ottawa University baseball team. The Braves went on the road and dominated a top-10 opponent.
OU’s Perez earns All-American honors
The Ottawa University men’s wrestling team made history this weekend at the 2022 NAIA Men’s Wrestling Championship in Wichita. JD Perez, 184 pounds finished fifth, becoming only the second wrestler in program history to earn a spot on the podium and be named a NAIA All-American.
Shocking’ state title
Parker Guge took a unique path to a state championship. The Ottawa High School sophomore wasn’t sure if he would get much wrestling mat time at all this season.

Viking girls record winning season
The Central Heights High School girls basketball team could not keep up offensively in Thursday’s sub-state semifinal game against Mission Valley at Lyndon. The Vikings fell 44-26.
OU softball falls in Classic opener
The Ottawa University softball team fell 6-2 to Texas Wesleyan University Thursday at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ottawa got off to a slow start as the Rams led 6-0 after four innings.
