• 2:20 p.m. Monday, Walmart Supercenter, 2101 S. Princeton St., Mercede Grammer, 24, Ottawa, on suspicion of theft and criminal trespass at Walmart.

• 12:18 a.m. Tuesday, 800 block of North Hemlock Street, Aaron Stottlemire, 39, Kansas City, Missouri, on suspicion of driving while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia, after being stopped by officers.

• 2:29 p.m. Tuesday, 4800 block of Fiber Lane, Wellsville, a 65-year-old Wellsville man reported his car hauling trailer was stolen sometime over the weekend. Estimated loss was $2,000.

Accidents

• 9:20 p.m. Monday, 4300 block of U.S. 59, a 2010 Ford Fusion driven by Matthew Hughes, 21, Blue Springs, Missouri, was southbound on U.S. 59 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway.

• 10:33 a.m. Monday, Ottawa High School parking lot, 1120 S. Ash St., a 16-year-old girl reported an unknown person damaged her car.

• 11:19 a.m. Tuesday, Forest Park, 320 N. Locust St., a 28-year-old Ottawa man reported a sign at the park was damaged.

• 12:59 p.m. Tuesday, Ottawa High School, 1120 S. Ash St., the school reported an unknown subject damaged school property.

Thefts

• 10:28 a.m. Monday, Thriftopia, 2210 S. Princeton St., the business reported a known suspect stole items from the store. Case is under investigation.

• 9:44 a.m. Tuesday, Kansas State Bank, 119 S. Main St., the bank reported it received a counterfeit $100 bill.

Accidents

• 7:40 a.m. Monday, 700 block of West 11th Street, a vehicle driven by Ricky Norval Jr., 18, Ottawa, struck a street sign owned by the City of Ottawa and left the scene. Norval was located and issued a citation.

• 12:23 p.m. Monday, 1700 block of South Eisenhower Avenue, a 2014 Chevrolet driven by Justice Maciel, 18, Kansas City, Missouri, lost a tire while turning a corner and struck a street sign. No injuries were reported.
