• 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, Elizabeth Layton Center, 2537 Eisenhower Road, a 14-year-old Ottawa girl was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage to property, in connection with damaged window blinds at the center. Estimated damage was $20.

• 1:47 p.m. Wednesday, Franklin County Adult Detention Center, 305 S. Main St., Dalton Pabst, 25, Pomona, on a Franklin County warrant for felony theft, forgery and providing false information.

• 2:44 p.m. Wednesday, Franklin County Adult Detention Center, 305 S. Main St., Cynthia Forton, 35, Ottawa, on a Franklin County warrant for forgery and theft.

• 9:22 a.m. Thursday, I-35 at milepost 190, Ottawa, Roy Bean, 56, Olathe, on suspicion of driving while suspended and no insurance.

• 10:16 a.m. Thursday, Franklin County Adult Detention Center, 305 S. Main St., Bryan Wilson, 22, Caprow, Virginia, on a Franklin County probation violation warrant.

• 12:16 p.m. Thursday, I-35 at milepost 198, Wellsville, Delmer Cowsert Jr., 51, Ottawa, on suspicion of violating a protection order.

• 9:50 p.m. Thursday, 400 block of Hayes Street, Jarred Wilson, 43, Pomona, on suspicion of aggravated assault, domestic battery and criminal damage to property, after a reported physical altercation with a Pomona woman.

• 10:42 p.m. Thursday, Franklin County Adult Detention Center, 305 S. Main St., Chelsea Shanklin, 29, Ottawa, on a Franklin County failure to appear warrant.

Police Department Arrests

• 9:47 p.m. Wednesday, 2200 block of South King Street, a 16-year-old Ottawa girl on suspicion of possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license, after being contacted on a traffic stop. A 14-year-old Ottawa girl also was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during the traffic stop.

• 12:54 a.m. Friday, 700 block of South Main Street, Gregorio Chavez, 30, Ottawa, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, after being contacted on a traffic stop.

Thefts

• 10:01 a.m. Thursday, 1700 block of U.S. 59, Princeton, a 71-year-old Princeton man reported someone stole 200 gallons of diesel fuel from one of his fuel tanks on Feb. 7. Loss was $500.

• 1:46 p.m. Thursday, 400 block of South Elm Street, Rantoul, a 20-year-old Rantoul woman reported someone used her personal information to obtain utilities in Ottawa in 2016. Loss was $800.

Accidents

• 11:47 p.m. Wednesday, 2000 block of Shawnee Road, a 2013 Hyundai Sonata driven by Casey Thompson, 26, Ottawa, was eastbound on Shawnee Road when it struck a deer.
