The bi-monthly meeting of the Franklin County 4-H Council was called to order on Jan. 28. Ethan Hatfield was the presiding officer.

We had 19 members and nine adults present. Kamryn Stinebaugh read the minutes from the previous meeting. Timothy Pearce gave the treasurer’s report. Jessica Flory gave the agent report.

Participants are needed for the Spring Fling petting zoo and project fair which will be 10 a.m. to noon March 20. District Club Days will be Feb. 23 at West Franklin High School. Regional Club Days will be March 9 in Gardner.

The Frontier District is looking for older 4-Hers to be camp counselors. Camp will be June 17-20. Beef weigh-in will take place Feb. 2.

In new business, Clayton Meador moved to give camp attendees $35 this year. Isaac Wingert seconded this motion and it was passed. Cole Erwin moved to adjourn the meeting and Damon Higbie seconded the motion. Meeting was adjourned.

The next Franklin County 4-H Council meeting will take place 7 p.m. March 25 at Celebration Hall.
