Easter fun for children is on tap Saturday morning on the Ottawa University’s front lawn, near the Fredrikson Chapel at 10th and Cedar.

A carnival atmosphere is planned along with an Easter Egg hunt for all ages. The activities start at 10 a.m. The event is sponsored by Ottawa University’s Theology, Action and Understanding, and the Ottawa Main Street Association.

The egg hunt will be separated by age groups: 10 a.m., birth to 3; 10:30 a.m., 4-6; 11 a.m., 7-9; 11:30 a.m., 10-plus. The carnival will run throughout the event.

Sydney Meyer, marketing cooridinator for TAU, said there will be several games set up on the lawn, inflatibles and children may take a photo with the Easter bunny. There will be candy, balloons and face-painting available.

The children can view fire trucks and police cars.
