The gallery director at the Carnegie Cultural Center in Ottawa was arrested Saturday afternoon on a Franklin County warrant for aggravated criminal sodomy, according to law enforcement reports.
Randy Endicott, Quenemo, was taken into custody by Ottawa police officers at 2:15 p.m. Saturday at the Carnegie Cultural Center, according to a police department report. Franklin County Adult Detention Center officials said Endicott was in custody as of Monday afternoon. Law enforcement reports said Endicott was being held on a $25,000 bond.
Adam Weingartner, Ottawa Police Chief, said the arrest came as a result of a several months long investigation.
“The Ottawa Police Department was notified of an investigation and followed that up,” Weingartner said. “After interviewing everybody in the case, the case was forwarded to the county attorney’s office for consideration of charges. The Franklin County Attorney’s office issued a warrant for his arrest and over the weekend officers with the department were able to arrest him on that warrant.”
Endicott has been the gallery director since December 2014.
