Caleb Andregg and Niki Eubanks, both of Ottawa, and Andrew Welton, of Pomona, were among 65 students named to the National Technical Honor Society at Washburn University Institute of Technology.

Andregg will graduate in May with certification in locomotive diesel technology and Eubanks will receive certification in automotive service technician. Welton is scheduled to graduate in May with certification in automotive service technician.

NTHS is an honor society for outstanding career and technical students of workforce vocational education institutions in the United States. To be eligible for induction, students must exhibit rewarding excellence in workforce education and promote strong values, such as responsibility, initiative, teamwork, leadership and scholarship.

They were honored at a special event on April 22 at Washburn Tech.
