GREENSBURG — The pride of Branson, Mo., and the Branson Little Opry Theatre will be heading to the stage at the Twilight Theatre as The Sons of Britches will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27.

There will also be a matinee show at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 28.

Twilight Theatre executive director George Ryan said the Sons of Britches is at the forefront of the Branson Show scene, bringing nearly 100 years of Branson show experience to the stage.

"It's all live and off-the-cuff spontaneous entertainment at its best," Ryan said. "It's family-friendly live music and down right entertaining."

Sons of Britches is made of Earl Vaughan, Louis Darby and Randy Plummer who have performed for more than a million listeners since the 1980s.

The show consists of guitar, fiddle and bass playing with sing-alongs and "popular tunes you know and love and a wide variety of favorites," as well as song requests.

"These fellers flat out know how to have fun," Ryan said. "You name the song and they will play it for you, and everyone sings along."

Ryan said he's grateful to Scott Brown, a renowned auctioneer in Greensburg. Brown made this show possible as a fundraising event for the Twilight Theatre and its sponsors.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
