Adventure Ride: 8-11 a.m., Ottawa Bike and Trail, 130 S. Main St. Meet at Ottawa Bike and Trail for coffee and waffles before heading off at 9 a.m. The route varies each week, but will usually be between 20-30 miles on Rails-to-Trails, gravel and paved roads. This is a no-drop ride, and will stop at specific points to reform the group.

Veterans Day Ceremony, Parade and Re-enactments: 20th dedication ceremony for Franklin County Veterans Memorial. Ceremonies begin at 9 a.m., followed by the parade at 10:45 a.m. Activities at Forest Park begin at noon and are expected to last until the flag retirement at 4:30 p.m.

Homemade Holidays Craft Show: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Ottawa Middle School, 13th and Ash. There will be more than 125 booths with crafts featuring woodworking, art, jewelry, quilts, holiday décor and specialty foods. Check out the Homemade Holidays Craft Show Facebook page or call 785-229-8030.

Grand O’Opry: 6:30 p.m., OMA. Melissa Petropoulos, Matt Jurgensen, Mike Arnett and Kathy Lynn will be performing. Tickets, $10. 



Ottawa Memorial Auditorium Fundraiser: 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Pizza Village, 330 S. Main St. OMA advisory board members will be servers. All proceeds go toward digital enhancement in the OMA lobby.

Family fun bicycle ride at Ottawa Bike and Trail: 1-2 p.m. 130 S Main St. A family-friendly, beginner ride covering six-10 miles on rail trail or lightly traveled roads. The ride is very casual, low stress and free. Routes and weather updates are updated on the Ottawa Bike and Trail Facebook page.


Friends of the Ottawa Library Book Store: Open each Monday from 1-2:30 p.m. and first and third Saturday of each month, 9 a.m. to noon. Store located at 209 E. 2nd St., Ottawa.
