MARSHALL, Mo. — The Ottawa University men’s wrestling team compiled a 3-1 mark Tuesday in the Missouri Valley Duals.

Ottawa’s only loss was to Campbellsville. Ottawa defeated William Penn 31-15 and Waldorf University 46-3 in the second half of the duals. Ottawa opened the duals with a 46-9 victory over Lincolon College.

Against William Penn, Parker Wright (141) earned the major decision victory. Ryan Delforge (157) won by a fall. John Redmond (165), Cameron Young-Leggett (174) and Santino Gee (184) earned decisions. Carson Savage (197) and Dalton Sikes (285) won by falls.

Against Waldorf, Bobby Robinson Jr. bested Arie Reyes via fall. Wright earned the major decision victory over Alfredo Moreno. Armand Kenepaske earned the win via fall over Robet Ornelas. Cesar Villanueva fell by a fall.

Against Lincoln, Robinson Jr. earned the win by fall over Jack Hale. Kenepakse (141) earned the major decision victory. Delforge won by a fall. Sikes bested Danny Brownlee by fall.

Ottawa compiled 24 points in the latest NAIA poll released this week.

The men’s squad’s next competition is Jan. 3 in a home dual against the York College Panthers. Matches are set to start at 7 p.m. The women sqauds will dual at 5 p.m.
