Pamela Sue Bowen, 62, passed away on Dec. 22, 2019, at her home in Lane, Kansas.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home. Following services interment will be at Highland Cemetery in Ottawa. Kansas. Pamela was born in Terre Haute, Indiana. She was the daughter of John and Linda Armstrong. She worked at Walmart Distribution Center for 25 years. She then left that job to become a homemaker and raised two children.

She enjoyed gardening and being outside watching the grandkids play. She always loved being around family, cooking, baking, and canning. Her laugh and smile always made everything better. She will be missed by many. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother to all, it didn’t matter if you were family or not, she always made you feel welcomed. There was never a dull moment when it came to her.

She was united in marriage with Harry Edward Piper III, they later divorced. She was united in marriage with James Bowen on Sept. 28, 1996, he survives of their home. Other survivors include son, Eddie Piper and Danielle Towel, of Osage City, Kansas; daughter, Beth and husband, Lucas Wiser, of Williamsburg, Kansas; sister, Carla Duke of Paris, Illinois; sister, Jonnie Armstrong, of Houston, Texas; brother, Kale Armstrong, of Tip City, Ohio; stepmom, Sandy Tyler, of Paris, Illinois; five grandchildren, Hailey, Abraial, Alexis, McKinley, and Ashley.

Pamela was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Armstrong, and grandparents.
