Donald E. Hobbs, 70, from Princeton, Kansas, died Jan. 13, 2020.
He was born on June 7, 1949, to Jack “Jerry” Jeremiah Hobbs and Rose Marie (Affolter) Hobbs.
He was united in marriage to Virginia (Ginger) Kochenower on June 14, 1980.
He is survived by three children: Tammy Ogle and husband, Craig; Jack Hobbs and wife, Jessica; and Justin Hobbs and wife, Kaleigh; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
During his life, Don had many different occupations, working at a tire shop, truck driver, raising hogs and cattle, various construction jobs and was ECKAN weatherization director for over 20 years. He loved working on his 1963 Nova, riding his Harley and going to car shows. He volunteered for many community activities, including Princeton Recreation and Ohio Township Fire Department.
Don had a great love for his kids and grandkids and loved to spend time with family and friends. He will be missed by all.
