Neosho County Community College hired Josh Merrill as the new health care clinical support instructor/coordinator.
His duties will include instruction in health care clinical support and health information technology, as well as coordination of the medical assistant and phlebotomy programs.
Merrill is a registered nurse, holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a master’s degree in health care administration. He has been an adjunct instructor for NCCC health care programs, where he was recognized for his quality instruction, and served as the assistant director of residence and student life and part-time assistant baseball coach since August 2019.
He will continue to serve as the assistant baseball coach/sports information director.
