• 9:47 p.m. 10/29, 409 W. Franklin St., Pomona, Alicia Stofko, 37, Ottawa, was arrested on an Ottawa Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear.


• 3:41 a.m. 10/29, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Alyssa McCurdy, 33, Ottawa, was arrested on a Franklin County probable cause warrant for possession of drugs and interference with law enforcement.


• 9:45 a.m. 10/30, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Austin Reed, 20, Kansas City, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear.


• 7:31 p.m. 10/30, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Anthony Belles, 37, Ottawa, was arrested in connection with violating terms of a protection order.


• 12:18 p.m. 10/31, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, David Ballew, 47, Olathe, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear.


• 5:38 p.m. 10/31, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Levi Oakes, 32, Ottawa, was arrested on three Franklin County civil warrants for failure to appear.


• 3:21 p.m. 10/31, 2200 Osborne Terrace, Ottawa, Amber Armstrong, 19, Melvern, was arrested and released on a notice to appear for driving without a valid driver's license after being involved in a traffic accident.


• 9:27 p.m. 10/31, 3800 block of Interstate 35, Ottawa, Danny Bagg, 50, Osawatomie, was stopped after being reported for erratic driving. He was arrested in connection with driving while revoked, no proof of liability insurance, and operating a motor vehicle without having it registered. He was issued a notice to appear and released from the scene.


• 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Kyle Fermyn, 29, Lane, was arrested on one Franklin County warrant for failure to appear.


• 7 p.m. Tuesday, 900 block of Eisenhower Road, Princeton, Thomas Landwehr, 57, Princeton, was arrested and released on a notice to appear for driving while suspended after being stopped for a traffic infraction.


• 11:29 a.m. Wednesday, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, James Adell, 45, Ottawa, was arrested on a Franklin County probable cause warrant for aggravated battery and criminal damage to property.


• 3:55 p.m. Wednesday, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Jon Clark, 35, Ottawa, was arrested on a Franklin County probation violation warrant.


Accidents


• 7:54 p.m. 10/29, 3900 block of Tennessee Road, Wellsville, Sharon Messenger, 52 of Baldwin City, was traveling north in the 3900 block of Tennessee Road in her 2011 Cadillac passenger car when she struck a deer.


• 8:32 a.m. 10/30, 500 block of Monroe St., Pomona, a 16-year-old Pomona resident was traveling south in a 2020 Honda Civic when they were run off the road by an unknown silver Chevrolet Silverado, striking a ditch.


• 10:47 p.m. 10/30, 1900 block of Old US-50 highway, Ottawa, Mallory Meiwes, 28, Ottawa, was traveling south in her 2012 Ford Explorer when the vehicle struck a deer that entered the roadway.


• 12:19 a.m. 10/30, 1500 block of Idaho Road, Pomona, Nicholas Hunter, 33, Williamsburg, was traveling south when a deer ran into the side of his 1994 Ford F-250 truck.


• 1:54 a.m. 10/30, 1300 block of Interstate 35, Williamsburg, Tiffany Butler, 26, Wichita, was traveling south in her 2018 Toyota when it struck a deer that entered the roadway.


• 6:35 a.m. 10/31, 2600 block of I-35, Ottawa, David Park, 56, Kansas City, Mo., was driving his 2011 KIA southbound when he struck a deer in his path.


• 3:21 p.m. 10/31, 2200 block of Osborne Terrace, Ottawa, Amber Armstrong, 19, Melvern, was driving west in a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu when she lost control on the gravel and left the roadway to the left, where the vehicle overturned


• 7:06 p.m. 10/31, 4800 block of K-68 highway, Wellsville, Theodore Smith, 21, Paola, was traveling west in a 2020 Ford F-350 when he struck a deer that entered the roadway.


• 2:45 a.m. 10/31, 4300 block of Old US-59 highway, Ottawa, Marcus Miller, 25, Lawrence, lost control on a curve and left the roadway striking several signs.


• 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, 1800 block of K-68 highway, Ottawa, Shawn Reed, 21, Ottawa, was traveling west in a 2013 Volkswagen when he struck a deer that entered the roadway.


• 8:42 p.m., Tuesday, 2900 block of I-35 Hwy, Ottawa, Lee White, 55, El Dorado, was traveling southbound in his 2014 Honda CR-V when he struck a deer that entered the roadway.


• 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, 2400 block of Old US-50, Ottawa, Heriberto Pantoja, 35, Ottawa, was traveling north in his 2017 Chevrolet 1500 when he struck a deer that entered the roadway.


• 2:42 a.m. Tuesday, 1700 block of Old US-50 Hwy, Ottawa, Keith Weber, 41, Williamsburg, was traveling north in a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu when he struck a deer that entered the roadway.


• 5:35 a.m. Tuesday, 3400 block of K-33, Wellsville, Ronald Smitha, 60, Paola, was traveling north in his 2001 Chevy pickup when he struck a deer.


• 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, 4700 block of K-68, Wellsville, Timothy Farquhar 60, Wellsville, was traveling west in his 2012 Dodge Journey when he struck a deer that was standing in the roadway.


Incidents


• 9:46 p.m. 10/30, 200 block of High St., Princeton, a 41-year-old Princeton resident reported the front window of the home they lease was damaged by their ex-partner, a 34-year-old Princeton resident.


• 12:13 a.m. 10/31, 3800 block of Utah Road, Wellsville, a party involving underage people drinking alcohol was reported at this location. Upon further investigation, a report is being forwarded to the Franklin County Attorney's Office for numerous minors found to have consumed alcohol and for a 20-year-old Wellsville resident who hosted the party.


Thefts


• 8:47 p.m. 10/29, 409 W. Franklin St., Pomona, a 27-year-old Pomona resident called to report an unknown woman entered into Dollar General and stole a hair brush and Dr. Pepper. Loss valued at $9. After further investigation, Alicia Stofko, 37, Ottawa, was identified as the suspect and located in the Pomona area. The case is being forwarded to Pomona Municipal Court for prosecution.

• 1:27 a.m. 10/30, 200 North Main Street, Brandon Wadewitz, 24, Ottawa, was arrested in connection with driving under the influence, possession of a firearm while under the influence, transporting an open container, driving while revoked, no insurance after being stopped for a traffic infraction.


• 6:09 p.m. 10/31, 100 W. 9th St., Shannon Spillman, 46, Ottawa, was arrested in connection with DUI, no drivers license, no proof of liability insurance after being contacted on a call for service.


• 6:25 p.m. Monday, 600 block of N. Cedar, Jose Mora, 47, Cherryvale, was arrested on an active Montgomery County warrant.


• 10:48 p.m. Monday, 305 S. Main St., Bradley Tevis, 41, Osage City, was arrested on an active City of Ottawa warrant.


• 12:33 a.m. Tuesday, 1500 S. Elm St., Scott Coulter, 38, Ottawa, was arrested on an active City of Ottawa warrant.


• 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, 1000 S. Walnut St., John Penner, 34, homeless, was arrested in connection with disorderly conduct, interference with leo, pedestrian under the influence after causing a disturbance.


• 10:02 a.m. Wednesday, 300 E. Massasoit St., James Adell, 45, Ottawa, was arrested on a City of Ottawa warrant.


• 3:46 p.m. Wednesday, 1400 S. Main St., Quentin Cahoon, 25, Ottawa, was arrested on a City of Ottawa warrant.


• 4:07 p.m. Wednesday, 1400 S. Main St., Kaleb Moore, 27, Ottawa, was arrested on two Nemaha County warrants.


• 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, 100 E. 7th St., Dalton Slankard, 26, Pomona, was arrested in connection with fleeing and eluding, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal in possession of a weapon, no insurance after an officer attempted to stop him for a traffic infraction.


Accidents


• 1 p.m. 10/30, 1700 S. Princeton Circle Drive, a 2019 Freightliner driven by Christopher Fawl, 45, Baldwin City, struck a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Danika Hickey, 20, Stryker, Ohio. Fawl was cited for improper driving on laned roadways.


• 6:09 p.m. 10/31, 100 W. 9th St., a 2000 Ford Econoline van driven by Shannon Spillman, 46, Ottawa, struck a 2015 Kia Sorento driven by Kyann Griffin, 44, Ottawa. Spillman was cited for improper backing.


• 7:33 p.m. Sunday, 800 E. 1st St., Edward Bohnert Jr., 40, Ottawa, was operating a 1995 Husqvarna motorcycle when he lost control and struck fence. Bohnert and a 35-year-old Ottawa passenger were transported to Advent Health for injuries.


• 2:44 a.m. Sunday, 1500 S. Elm St., Nicholas Brannan, 33, Ottawa, was arrested in connection with domestic battery, interference with law enforcement after an altercation with a known 32-year-old Ottawa woman.


• 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, 1301 N. Davis Ave, American Eagle, a 63-year-old Lawrence resident reported an unknown individual hit her vehicle.


• 11:35 a.m. Tuesday, 100 E. 13th St., 2006 Honda Driven by Dale Stratton, 71, Ottawa, struck a parked 2006 Chevrolet. Stratton was cited for inattentive driving.

• 1:50 p.m. 10/30, 2300 S. Princeton St., a 20-year-old Topeka man was found to be in violation of distribution of marijuana, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, no drug tax stamp after being contacted on a call for service. Case is under investigation.


• 1:44 p.m. 10/31, 300 E. 6th St., Brian Dennis, 38, Ottawa, was cited and released for transporting an open container after being contacted on a call for service.


• 3:15 p.m. Sunday, 715 W. 2nd St., a 37-year-old Ottawa resident reported being the victim of PFA violation. Case is under investigation.


• 10 a.m. Sunday, 200 S. Cedar St., a 65-year-old Ottawa resident reported an unknown subject struck their parked vehicle and left the scene. Case is under investigation.


• 5:08 p.m. Monday, 1000 block of E. 15th St, an unknown suspect fled in a vehicle after officer attempted to stop the vehicle for a traffic infraction. Case is under investigation.


• 2:03 a.m. Tuesday, 1400 S. Main St., an unknown cyclist failed to stop for officers after committing a traffic infraction. Case under investigation.


• 5:58 p.m. Wednesday, 715 W. 2nd St. (Ottawa Police Department), a 51-year-old Ottawa resident reported a past sex offense. Case is under investigation.

• 3:55 p.m. Sunday, 500 N. Cedar St., a 42-year-old Ottawa resident reported items were stolen from a storage unit.


• 6:45 p.m. Monday, 600 block of N. Cedar, a 36-year-old Ottawa resident reported an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle and took items. Case is under investigation.


• 9:21 a.m. Tuesday, 1000 Augusta Lane, a 66-year-old Ottawa resident reported a license plate stolen.


• 1 p.m. Tuesday, 1300 S. Dogwood St., a 65-year-old Ottawa resident reported an unknown individual stole his identity.


• 6:03 p.m. Tuesday, 500 S. Willow St., a 61-year-old Ottawa resident reported an unknown individual stole items.
