Kathleen Joan Graika, 61, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at her home in Ottawa.

She was born May 4, 1956, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Tom and Delores Humphrey Musgrave.

Kathy had lived in Anchorage, Alaska, and in Ottawa since 1989. She graduated from Diamond High School in Anchorage and took General Education for two years at Neosho County.

Kathy worked as a revisions clerk for the Hanford Nuclear Plant in Washington state and the Wolf Creek Nuclear Plant near Burlington. She was a store manager for Aldi’s for several years and worked for Wal-Mart in Ottawa for over 22 years, until retiring in 2017. She loved spending time with her family, going to the casino and Branson, Missouri.

On June 26, 1975, Kathy married Jeff Graika in Anchorage, Alaska.

Kathy was preceded inn death by her mother and father, Tom and Delores and by her mother and father-in-law, David and Ruth Graika.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Jeff of the home; her four daughters, Jenny Schimmel of Melvern, Jolene Graika and Jamie Graika, both of Ottawa, and Josette Thompson of Richmond; her brother, Chris Vontz of New Hampshire; her three sisters, Karen Cantrell of Maine, Brenda West of Virginia and Kay Asbury of Arkansas; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
