Milburn “Mack” Henricks, 61, of Oskaloosa, Kansas, died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018.
He was born Jan. 5, 1957 in Oklahoma City, OK., the son of Donald Worth and Myrtle Lois Horne Henricks. Mack joined the US Army in 1974, receiving an honorable medical discharge later that year. He worked as a carpentry laborer for Jerry Moses construction and Midwest Homes. He also worked for the Oskaloosa Lumber Company and most recently the North Topeka Walmart. He was an assistant Scout Leader for the Boy Scouts of America, and a member of the Living Water Church in Oskaloosa.
He married Janice K. Chenoweth on May 22, 1999 in Rantoul, she survives of the home. Other survivors include one son John (Alice) Jones, of Ottawa, Kan., and one daughter Karen (Jeffery) Hall, Neodesha, Kan., His twin brother Richard (Genia) Henricks, Quenemo, Kan., his brother, Alfred (Molly) Henricks, Lawrence, Kan., a sister, Elizabeth “Sue” (Mike) Pratt, Ottawa, Kan., 6 Grandchildren; Zander, Zachery and Zoie Jones, Raven, Tristin Howard, and Alana Jones-Garcia, along with one “On the way” and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald W. Henricks, Jr., and Donald Louis Henricks.
Cremation is planned with memorial services 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec 29, 2018 at the Living Water Church in Oskaloosa. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association and sent in care of the Barnett Family Funeral Home PO Box 602, Oskaloosa Kan., 66066.
