Levi Kyle Mills, 29, Lane, died March 26, 2019.

He was cremated at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home in Osawatomie. No further arrangements have been made at this time.

He was born June 17, 1989, in Ottawa, to Edward Mills and Kimberly (McIlvain) Poage.

Levi attended school at both Central Heights and Lawrence.

Levi had very few wordly possessions, but he was always ready to help anyone he could and would give a stranger the shirt off his back, if he thought it would help them out.

He loved fishing, the outdoors, tinkering, rebuilding small engines and helping many people. Levi was loved by those who he knew and helped.

He always had a smile for those the cared for and when asked, he would always say he was okay. He had a huge heart and wore it on his sleeve.

Levi is survived by his mother and step-father, Kim and Brandon Poage; step-sister, Ireland, of the home; sister, Rachel De La Torre, Ottawa, and her children, Damien and Jasmine Moore. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Mary Needham, Lane; Clarence and Karen McIlvain, Ottawa; Rex Needham, Lane; his paternal grandmother, Virginia Welch, Ottawa. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, great aunts, great unclies and people he considered family and friends.

He was preceeded in death by his father, Edward Mills, and a nephew, Rex James Moore.
