Jan L. Croucher, 54, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, Sept. 30, 2019.
Funeral services are planned for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019, at the Ottawa University Fredrickson Chapel, 1001 S. Cedar, Ottawa.
Family will meet with friends from 5-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at Dengel & Son Mortuary.
Interment Princeton Cemetery, Princeton.
Jan was born June 30, 1965, in Ottawa, the daughter of William David and Lucille Maxine (McClay) Brown.
She was a lifelong Ottawa resident.
She graduated from Ottawa High School with the Class of 1983.
On Oct. 19, 1985, Jan was united in marriage to Rodney K. Croucher in Ottawa. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include her mother, Maxine Brown of Ottawa; two sons, Cody and Andy Croucher, both of Ottawa; three siblings, Sharon Haas, of Ottawa, Craig (Myrna) Brown of Fayetteville, Ark., and Marc (Susie) Brown, of Richmond; mother and father-in-law, Jeanette and Virgil Croucher, of Ottawa; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Brown, and brother-in-law, Pat Haas.
Jan was currently employed with Anderson & Byrd LLP as a probate specialist and head bookkeeper. She formerly worked with Franklin Savings Association and was a former member of the Ottawa Jaycees.
Jan’s greatest enjoyment was spending time with her children and family. She loved cooking for the boys, family vacations, swimming and boating.
