Ruth Marie (Wells) Easterbrook, 79, of Milford Texas, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Monday, June 29, 2020, at her home.
A memorial service will be in Osawatomie, Kansas, 1 p.m. Aug. 22, 2020, at the Faith Baptist Church, 601 Retan Ave. Donations can be made to Franklin County Cancer Foundation: In C/O Karen McIlvain 421 South Poplar, Ottawa Ks, 66067
She was born on Feb. 8, 1941, in Paola, Kansas, to Floyd and Ester (Cochran) Wells.
Ruth retired from Honeywell (King Radio) in Olatha, Kansas, after 30-plus years .
Ruth had many hobbies such as scrap booking, camping, coloring, and playing games on her tablet and computer. She loved to go to all arts and craft fairs and liked to people watch. Ruth loved her flowers, plants, dogs, and other animals that she had at the house. She liked when her grandson, Jimmy, would come to see her because she always liked listening to him play his guitar, she also loved listening and singing to music, if it was on the radio or at church. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memories is her first husband, Jim Randall (1959 to 1982) that marriage resulted in four children: Theresa Keffer and husband, Doug, of Milford, Texas; Clint Randall and wife, Becky, of Paola, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Rodney Lee Badders, James Dee Badders, Rusty Randall, Jessica Kerr, Kevin Lister, Krystal Bennett and Christopher Lister; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Floesta Barthol and husband, Larry; brother, Kenny Wells and wife, Marilyn.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, William (Bill) Easterbrook in 2008; son, David Leroy Randall (1960); daughter, Rhonda Ranae Randall; grandchildren, Rhonda Marie Randall, Nickolas O’Shawnase Randall (1994); brother, Earl Wells; parents, Floyd and Ester Wells.
