Anna Marie (Fowler) Clark, 87, of Baldwin City, Kansas, passed away Thursday, Sept. 3, 2020, at Vintage Park of Osawatomie, KS.
A Celebration of Life service will be 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, at Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, 712 Ninth St., Baldwin City, Kansas. Inurnment will be at a later date at Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Anna Clark Memorial Fund and sent c/o Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home, P.O. Anna was born Aug. 23, 1933, in Vinland, Kansas, the daughter of John Fowler and Opal (Randel) Fowler. She grew up in Vinland and graduated from Vinland High School with the class of 1951.
Anna was united in marriage to Lewis Clark in Visalia, California, in 1954. They shared over 35 years of loving marriage up to Lewis’s death in 1989.
Anna was a tireless worker. She and husband, Lewis, purchased Clark’s Cleaners, in Baldwin City in 1979 and in 1987 they purchased Royal Cleaners in Ottawa, Kansas. She embraced being an entrepreneur.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters, Joanne Fowler and Mary Ellen Berger.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Lori Stottlemire, Westminster, Colorado; a granddaughter, Nicki Hamilton, Fresno, California; two grandsons, Mitchell Rogers, Garnett, Kansas; Ryan Rogers, Osawatomie, Kansas; four great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Everett, Warren, and Liberty; a brother, Richard Fowler, Lawrence, Kansas; and a sister, Erma Fowler Martin, Baldwin City, Kansas.
