Fern L. Curtis, 92, of Ottawa, passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2020, at Rock Creek of Ottawa.

Fern was born Oct. 14, 1927, at Ottawa, the daughter of Roy Everett and Anna Johanna (Buss) Curtis. She was a long-time Ottawa resident. She graduated from Osawatomie High School, Osawatomie, Kansas.
Fern was a seamstress at H.D. Lee in Ottawa, assembly worker at King Radio, Ottawa, and H.D. Lee in Merriam, Kansas.
She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a Sunday school teacher for 33 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Harold Curtis.
Survivors include her brother, Frederick Curtis, Sr., of North Kansas City, Missouri; and four nieces and nephews, Melinda Bluff of Taylors, South Carolina; Keith Curtis, of Ottawa; Reignald “Reggie” Curtis, of Linn, Missouri; Fred Curtis, Jr., of North Kansas City, Missouri.
