WELLSVILLE — The Wellsville High School girls will be playing in its fourth straight sub-state championship game p.m.today at home against Eureka.

The Eagles rolled past Council Grove, 63-44, in Friday’s semifinals in Wellsville. The first half was a wide-open affair.

“The first half was fast-paced,” Wellsville coach Brock Campbell said. “We struggled defensively in the first half. We locked down on them defensively in the second half.”

Campbell said Eureka plays a similar style.

“They like to press,” he said. “It will be a good match up for us.”

Demi Aamold paced the Eagles with 25 points. Paige McDaniel sizzled the nets for 16 points.
