– 4:15 p.m. June 29, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Thelma Mayfield, 44, Wellsville, was arrested for a Franklin County probable cause warrant.

– 7:16 p.m. June 29, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, James Siefkas, 42, Princeton, was arrested on two Franklin County warrants, both for probation violation.

– 2:05 p.m. Wednesday, 305 S. Main Street, Ottawa, Robert L. Bowden, 58, Wellsville, was arrested on a Franklin County felony warrant for failure to appear.

– 4:57 p.m. Wednesday, 3400 block of Louisiana Terrace, Justin Smith, 40, Williamsburg, was arrested for Interference with law enforcement and a Franklin County warrant for probation violation.

– 7:02 p.m. Wednesday, 305 S. Main Street, Ottawa, Joslyn Obrien, 31, Edgerton, was arrested on two Franklin County warrants for failure to appear.

– 5:53 a.m. Wednesday, 3900 block of I-35, Jose Antonio Frias-Flores, 31, Kansas City, MO, was arrested for driving without a license after being stopped for a traffic infraction. he was released at the scene with a notice to appear.

– 3:07 p.m. Thursday, 1100 block of N. Sycamore Street, Ottawa, Marie Suther, 34, Richmond, was arrested for a Franklin County warrant for probation violation.

– 4:21 p.m. Thursday, 305 S. Main St. Ottawa, Harley Crook, 29, Waverly was arrested for a Franklin County failure to appear warrant.

– 3:57 a.m. Thursday, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Lane Morrison, 24, Lane, was arrested on two Franklin County warrants for violation of bond conditions.

– 2:37 p.m. Thursday, 2300 Block of US 59 Highway, Elizabeth Swartz, 34, Nickerson, was arrested for driving under the influence after she was called in as an erratic driver.

– 9:39 p.m. Saturday, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Dakota Mandina, 27, Olathe, was arrested on a Franklin County probation violation warrant.

– 9:39 p.m. Saturday, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Heather Harris, 34, Ottawa, was arrested for a Franklin County probation violation warrant.

– 12:06 p.m. Sunday, 700 Block of Taylor St., Pomona, Robert Wright, 50, Pomona was arrested on three Franklin County probable cause warrants and one Franklin County civil warrant.

– 6:00 p.m. Sunday, 400 Block of Monroe, Joshua Fine, 31, Williamsburg, was arrested for a Franklin County probation violation warrant, and felony interference.

– 10:13 p.m. Sunday, 3700 Sand Creek Rd., Christopher M Williams, 36, of Ottawa was arrested on 3 out of county warrants that did not have bonds and driving while suspended after the vehicle he was driving had mechanical problems.

Accidents

– 1:06 a.m. June 29, 1700 block Old US-50 Highway, Ottawa, Sean Stover, 17, Pomona, was traveling south bound in a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 when he struck a deer that entered the roadway.

– 5:38 a.m. Sunday, 1800 Block of US 59 Highway, Lorne White, 57, Ottawa was traveling southbound in his 2018 Toyota Rav 4 when he struck a deer that had entered the roadway.

Incidents

– 10:00 a.m. June 29, 220 S. Beech St., Ottawa, information was received regarding Lane Morrison, 24, Lane, violating the conditions of his bond. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney's office.

– 7:18 p.m. Wednesday, 3800 block of Oregon Road, a 25-year old Princeton female reported a prior sex offense by a known suspect. Case is under further investigation.

– 5:08 a.m. Thursday, Binder Lane, a 59-year old Ottawa male reported being battered by his ex-girlfriend, a 35-year old Ottawa female. The case is under further investigation.

– 4:53 p.m. Saturday, 300 Taylor St., Pomona, Rick Smith, 64, Pomona, reported that someone vandalized his 2019 Toyota Camry.

– 11:36 p.m. Saturday, 604 Hover St., Pomona, Nathaniel Tinsley, 41, of Pomona reported that someone damaged his brand new swimming pool in the amount of $500.

Thefts

– 9:02 a.m. Thursday, 4420 Utah Rd, Wellsville, Jackie Sanders 70, Wellsville, reported damage to his Titan stock trailer and pipe fence that was caused by a collision with an unknown vehicle. The vehicle involved has not been located. Damage to the trailer and fence is estimated at $3,500.

– 7:25 p.m. Sunday, 3400 Louisiana Terrace, John Taccyzk, 42, Ottawa, reported his barn was broken into and multiple items were stolen. Total estimated loss of property was $780.00.

Arrests

– 7:43 p.m. June 29, 1000 South Ash St., Tron Brewer, 38, Ottawa, was arrested for driving under the influence, transporting an open container, driving while suspended, interference with law enforcement after being contacted.

– 5:35 p.m. June 30, 1000 S. Main St., Troy Wilson, 26, Ottawa, reported the theft of a firearm. Teinary Horne, 19, Ottawa, was later arrested for theft of a firearm, felony interference with law enforcement and making false information.

– 9:43 p.m. June 30, 1100 N. Cherry St., Ottawa, Randy Hickman, 26, Ottawa, was arrested for the above offense after an altercation with a known 22-year-old Ottawa female.

– 2:42 p.m. Wednesday, 300 South Cedar St., Ottawa, Cody Farrar, 32, Ottawa, was arrested after battering a known 41-year-old Ottawa female.

– 2:21 a.m. Thursday, 200 E. 27th St., Ottawa, Lane Morrison, 24, Lane, was arrested for driving while suspended, transporting an open container, no proof of insurance, expired registration after being contacted on a call for service.

– 8:47 a.m. Friday, 900 S. Main Street, Ottawa, a known suspect committed felony flee and elude, possession of a stolen vehicle, felony interference with law enforcement, and possession of drug paraphernalia after fleeing from officers in a stolen vehicle. Timothy Albin, 18, Clinton, Missouri, was later arrested.

– 5:12 p.m. Friday, 2101 S. Princeton St., Lauren Anderson, 22, Montana, was arrested for theft of property. Anderson was released on a notice to appear.

– 1:18 p.m. Sunday, 100 N. Main St., Ottawa, Eric Crump, 44, Ottawa, was arrested for interference with law enforcement and driving while suspended after being contacted on a traffic stop. Crump was released on a notice to appear.

– 1:18 Sunday, 100 N. Main St., Ottawa, London Pike, 18, homeless, was arrested for interference with law enforcement after being contacted on a traffic stop. Pike was released on a notice to appear.

– No time, Sunday, 300 E. Powhattan St., Cody Hollon, 25, Wellsville, was arrested for criminal use of an explosive, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia after being contacted by officers.

Accidents

– 5:54 p.m. Wednesday, 1519 South Main Street (Mrs. Fix It), 1754 hours, Christina Tucker, 50, Osawatomie, reported a known subject backed into a vehicle and fled the scene. Case is under investigation.

– 1:07 p.m. Wednesday, 500 South Elm St., Louise Dietz, 89,Ottawa, was driving a 2009 Toyota SUV and struck a 2014 Cadillac passenger car driven by Susan Chaney, 54, Ottawa. Louise Dietz was cited for inattentive driving.

– 10:11 p.m. Thursday, 2500 block of S. Princeton, Ottawa, a 2014 Ford driven by Karen Goodloe, 55, Higginsville, Missouri, was exiting I-35 when she failed to stop at the stop sign and struck a 2017 Toyota driven by Abigael Reid, 17, Garnett. Goodloe cited for disobeying a stop sign.

– 6:14 p.m. June 29, 500 S. Sycamore St., Ottawa, a 17-year-old Ottawa, Kansas juvenile reported that an unknown suspect caused damage to his property.

– 8:04 p.m. June 29, 800 North King St., Ottawa, an altercation was reported between a 32-year-old Ottawa female and a 28-year-old Ottawa male. Case is under investigation.

– 12:11 p.m. June 30, 2305 S. Cedar Street (BP Gas Station), Mark Hicks, 41, Paola, reported the loss of a cell phone.

– 6:37 a.m. June 30, 700 S. Sycamore St., a 55-year-old Ottawa male was found deceased inside of a residence.

– 11:43 a.m. Wednesday, 100 South Elm St., Ottawa, Alan Young, 23, Ottawa, reported an unknown subject damaged his property.

– 9:38 a.m. Wednesday, 800 West 6th St., a physical altercation was reported between a 91 year-old Ottawa male and a 74 year-old Ottawa female. Case is under investigation.

– 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, 715 W. 2nd St., Ottawa, a 40-year-old Henderson, Nevada male reported a possible sex offense involving a known Ottawa female. Case is under investigation.

– 5:29 a.m. Wednesday, 1200 W. 2nd St., Ottawa, a stolen vehicle was located in this location on fire. Case is under investigation.

– 11:34 p.m. Friday, 700 S. Pecan Street, Ottawa, a 2007 Dodge owned by Lance Burroughs Jr., 36, Ottawa, was found burning by an officer.

– 1:26 p.m. Sunday, 600 E. 4th St., Ottawa, an Ottawa female reported the crime of stalking. Case is under investigation.

– 5:19 a.m. Sunday, 800 S. Cedar St., Ottawa, a 20-year-old Ottawa male was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after being contacted by an officer.

Thefts

– 4:14 p.m. Wednesday, 500 West Willow Ln., Ottawa, Madeline Woods, 68, Ottawa, reported a known subject stole property. Case is under investigation.

– 5:29 a.m. Wednesday, 400 W. 2nd St., Ottawa, Sabrina Green, 29, Ottawa, reported an unknown suspect stole her vehicle. The vehicle was later located.

– 12:51 p.m. Friday, 600 N. Cedar Street, Ottawa, John Hopkins, 71, Ottawa, reported the theft of a firearm. Case is under investigation.

– 3:42 p.m. Friday, 300 S. Cedar Street, Ottawa, Zachary Blakesley, 18, Ottawa, reported a known suspect stole his property. Case is under investigation.

– 12:56 p.m. Sunday, 900 N. King St., Phillip Gagnon, 56, Ottawa, reported that an unknown suspect entered his locked residence and stole property.

– 6:34 p.m. Sunday, 2212 S. Princeton St., Tyler Hutchinson, 21, Ottawa, reported that unknown suspects entered the store and stole property. Case is under investigation.
