• 2:30 p.m. Sunday, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Natasha Henson, 27, Ottawa, was arrested on a Franklin County failure to appear warrant.

• 4 p.m. Sunday, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Cody Hollon, 25, Wellsville, was arrested on a Franklin County failure to appear warrant.

• 6:18 a.m. Sunday, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa, Seth Conner, 20, Ottawa, was arrested on a Franklin County probation violation warrant.

• 6:03 p.m. Sunday, 3800 block of Interstate 35, Matthew Daly, 22, Overland Park, was arrested in connection with driving under the influence, transporting an open container, driving without a valid license, and no ignition interlock.

• 9:14 p.m. Sunday, 2300 block of Interstate 35, Theresa Sallaz, 54, Olathe, was arrested in connection with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of paraphernalia, transporting open container, no vehicle registration and no liability insurance.

• 8:31 p.m. Monday, 305 S. Main St., Ottawa,Howard Hanson Jr., 38, Ottawa, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear.

• 8:04 p.m. Thursday, 1000 W. 7th St., Ottawa, Sheena Buskirk, 30, Pomona, was arrested on a Franklin County failure to appear warrant.


• 7:03 a.m. Monday, 1100 block of US-59 highway, Levi Arnett, 31, Garnett, was driving northbound in a 2003 Dodge pickup when he struck a deer that entered the roadway. Damage estimated over $1,000.

• 9:02 a.m. Monday, 900 block of Sand Creek Road, an unknown subject crashed a 1993 Ford Taurus owned by Judy Porter into a fence and fence gate causing damage. The driver fled the scene. Damage estimated over $1,000.

• 4:47 p.m. Monday, 3600 block of K-33 Highway, Gary Van Horn, 35, Wellsville, was driving his Case 6088 combine pulling a header on a trailer northbound on K-33 highway. As Van Horn was turning into a field drive to the west, Carl Orser, 80, Overland Park, was following him in his 2015 Ford Expedition and attempted to pass on the left. As Orser was passing, Van Horn turned left and contacted the passenger side of Orser’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. Damage to both units was estimated over $1,000.

• 1:47 p.m. Wednesday, 3700 block of US-59 highway, Skyler Shockley, 24, Lawrence, was driving a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero when he struck a guardrail. Damage estimated over $1,000.


• 3:10 a.m. Sunday, 3300 block of California Terrace, Jack Young, 19, Ottawa, reported a vehicle on fire. The vehicle is a 1987 Dodge Diplomat owned by Joshua Fine, 31, Williamsburg, and is a total loss. The vehicle was towed away by TT&T Towing.


• 2:30 p.m. Sunday, 4300 block of Thomas Road, Christopher Garman, 33, Iowa, reported the theft of a Glock 17 handgun from his vehicle between the hours of 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. on July 4. Loss estimated at $500.

• 9 p.m. Sunday, 2200 block of Sand Creek Roa, Paul Hoerner, 70, Ottawa, reported two clocks and a watch stolen from his residence. He also reported damage to a back door. Loss estimated at $550.

• 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, 500 N. Cedar Street, Ottawa, Conell Davis, 26, Ottawa, was arrested for aggravated domestic battery, criminal deprivation of property, battery, criminal damage to property after battering a known 32-year-old Ottawa female and a 10-year-old Ottawa juvenile.


• 12:52 p.m. Wednesday, 300 North Main Street, Ottawa, a 2009 Ford driven by Amy Ball, 41, Ottawa, was driving west on Keokuk and a 2005 Chevrolet driven by Spyncer Hiles, 18, Ottawa, were involved in a noninjury accident.


• 7:34 p.m. Monday, 300 E. Wilson Street, a known 26-year-old Ottawa man committed possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, interference with law enforcement. Case is under investigation.

• 12:24 p.m. Tuesday, 2101 S. Princeton (Wal Mart Supercenter), 60-year-old Ottawa woman reported a PFA violation by a known 63-year-old Pomona man.

• 4:59 p.m. Tuesday, 700 E. 9th Street, Ottawa, Karen Good, 66, Ottawa, reported an unknown subject damaged property.

• 12:32 p.m. Wednesday, 200 W. 13th Street, a 63-year-old Pomona man fled from officers after a call for service.

• 12:24 a.m. Friday, 700 block of S. Lincoln, Ottawa, Anna Markus, 25, Ottawa, reported past damage to property by an unknown suspect.


• 6:55 a.m. Monday, 200 E. Wilson Street, Amy Beam, 36,Ottawa, reported burglary and theft. Case is under investigation.

• 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, 200 E. Wilson Street, Ottawa, Amy Beam, 36, Ottawa, reported an unknown subject entered a garage and stole items.
