County conservation accepting cost share applications

The Franklin County Conservation District is accepting applications for cost share assistance for single year, multi-species mix, cover crops to address compaction and organic matter depletion.

Applications will be accepted through Sept. 30 and reviewed for possible funding on Oct. 1.

Applications are available at the Franklin County Conservation District Office at the USDA  Service Center, 343 W. 3rd St., Suite 2, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Applications also are available on the the website, Completed forms may be submitted to via email as a PDF, mail or in person at the walk-up service window at the USDA Service Center.

The USDA Service Center remains closed to public access due to ongoing public health concerns surrounding COVID19. Staff are back to work and available via phone, email and the service window at the office.
