OMA auditioning singers for Songwriter Showcase
Local singers/songwriters have a chance to display their talents.
The Ottawa Memorial Auditorium’s new program, OMA Songwriter Showcase, will feature talented singer/songwriters in Franklin County community and beyond.
Interested individuals should submit a bio and a video featuring them performing one original and one cover song to email@example.com by Oct. 1.
All artists, no matter what genre of music are encouraged to apply. A committee of OMA staff and board members will review each application and choose the artists for the twice a month showcase.
Additional videos or virtual performances with the committee may be requested. The Songwriter Showcase dates for this year will be Nov. 5, Nov. 19, Dec. 3 and Dec. 17.
The Songwriter Showcase will be a live streamed show on the OMA Stage with a limited in-person audience (dependent on COVID restrictions at the time).
Participants must perform mostly original material on the Showcase. A second round of applications will be due by Dec. 1. for shows in January and February.
