OU women’s soccer adds forward

The Ottawa University women’s soccer team has signed a college transfer.

Alia Morris, of San Leandro, Calif., is a transfer from City College of San Francisco. Morris attended Encinal High School.

Morris appeared in 18 games, making 14 starts for College of San Francisco. She scored eight goals and tallied two assists for 18 points. Morris took 12 shots, with 10 of them on goal. She earned first team all-conference honors.

At Encinal High School, Morris lettered in soccer and football. She was a four-time all-League selection, earning earning first team all-league honors three times. Morris was named team captain three times, twice named Defensive MVP, and was twice selected as the West Alameda County Conference Player of the Year. On the football field, she set the school record for most points scored by a place kicker.

Morris plans to major in English.
