KCAC football media day to be on Facebook
The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) will conduct the 2020 KCAC Football Media Day virtually.
The event, sponsored by IMA, Inc. and Dissinger Reed, takes place beginning at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 7. The event will be broadcast on Facebook Live. Visit www.facebook.com/kcacsports for more details leading up to the event and to watch it that day.
Each football coach will give a preseason outlook for their teams. After the coaches’ presentations, the coaches and media preseason polls will be released.
The KCAC football teams will play nine games with eight conference games this season because of the COVID-19 concerns.
The Braves are coming off a 2-8 season where they finished 10th in the KCAC. Kent Kissinger, the dean of the KCAC football coaches, begins his 17th season at the helm of the Braves program.
Ottawa opens the season at 6 p.m. Sept. 12 at home against nonconference foe Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
