The Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) has announced the continuation of the emergency food assistance, or SNAP benefits, to current participants. The AdventHealth Ottawa Auxiliary will be giving out scholarships to medical students living in Franklin County or working for AdventHealth Ottawa to use toward their education in a health-related field. To qualify for the scholarship, students must be enrolled in or accepted to a health program offered by an accredited institution and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above. Pre-Medical and Pre-Nursing students are not eligible for this scholarship.
