The Ottawa High School girls basketball is reeling. The Cyclones are staring at a three-game losing streak.

Wellsville residents are now getting fresh produce delivered to town biweekly thanks to Live Healthy Franklin County’s new Harvest to Home program. According to Live Healthy Franklin County Coordinator Sheila Robertson, Harvest to Home is modeled after a similar program in Leoti, Kansas, called Simply Produce.

The Ottawa High School boys basketball team’s goal in the final portion of the season is to play a spoiler’s role and get on a roll. The Ottawa squad can be a scary team for the high seeds come postseason with all the close losses.

TOPEKA — Early-on-set Alzheimer’s disease led to rancher Charles Imthurn’s placement in a Kansas assisted living facility and it was dementia that prompted his involuntary discharge. Imthurn’s wife, Rachel, said the facility providing care for her husband and five other Alzheimer’s patients with issues related to memory, thinking and behavior decided without warning to get out of that line of business.
