Ottawa High School senior Tristan Martinez will be right at home during his college years. The Cyclone lives a block away from the Ottawa University campus, so he will not have far to move into a dorm.
Alex Vohs of Lawrence has had a passion for food since childhood. “I really liked to make breakfast for family,” he recalled. “Any time they’d come over I’d do a big brunch for everyone, so I’ve kind of enjoyed cooking ever since.”

Central Heights track athletes measured up to the rest of the Flint Hills League competitors. “The Flint Hills League has many of the top competitors in the state in several events and we are continuing to add to that level of success,” Central Heights coach Troy Prosser said.
