KALMAR TO EXPAND OTTAWA PLANT

Kalmar Global has announced plans to expand its Ottawa manufacturing plant to accommodate a growing demand for its electrically powered terminal tractors. According to Kalmar, the expansion will cost over $20 million and is expected to be completed in 2023.

Rain halts Legion tournaments

The Ottawa American Legion baseball teams had a rough start to their seasons as both weekend tournaments were washed out. The Arrows played two games on Friday, winning both games, before Saturday’s rain cancelled the rest of the Kansas Senators Tournament in Topeka.
