Proposal for new splash pad moves forward

With water conservation a concern, officials consider best way to preserve resource Ottawa city commissioners are proceeding with a proposal to develop a new splash pad that could potentially be ready by next summer. Although commissioners did not formally vote on the matter during Monday’s study session, they gave Ottawa City Manager Richard Nienstedt the go-ahead to proceed with plans with Casey Colbern, a project manager with Bartlett & West.
