Wellsville car show a success

_e 2022 Wellsville Car Show was a success, with over 300 vintage cars in attendance. Food and drinks were provided by local businesses Las Catrinas, Hot off the Press, and Aurora Coffee Co, as well as several food trucks and booths set up in the City Hall parking lot.

Franklin Co. Farm Bureau Ag Academy applications due Sept. 9

Applications for the Franklin County Farm Bureau’s 2022-2023 Ag Academy are due September 9. e program, which is available to Farm Bureau members and non-members, runs from October to September and seeks to provide Franklin Countians “of all occupations and levels of agricultural knowledge to be exposed to the many facets of production agriculture, rural communities, and agriculture policy.” e program will focus on three main areas in agriculture: advocacy, leadership and services, and rural communities and farm families.e introductory phase of the program will be at home at each participant’s own pace, with in-person tours and speakers across the state later in the year.

Buck-U-Distillery announces changes

A local distillery is closing its doors later this month. Buck-U-Distillery announced Monday on the business’ Facebook page that it would be closing to the public on Sept. 11. Friends and followers of the local venue, which also features a restaurant, full bar and live music, reacted swiftly, with nearly 500 comments on the news.
