e Ottawa University cross country teams’ runners put together their best times at the ESU Cross Country. All three Braves runners secured record times. Jonathan Torres ran a personal best of 28:55.25 to earn 22nd place. Senior Caleb Meyer, a former Central Heights standout, placed 27th overall with a time of 29:09.40. Earning a personal best was Luke Spells, who finished 65th with a time of 35:36.70.

Adriana Skipper has filled many roles in her time at Ottawa University. She was a standout volleyball player and a nationally decorated member of the cheer squad.
Central Heights senior Carson Wood has been a stalwart for the Vikings in the past two games. Against Uniontown, had rushed for 220 yards on 16 carries (13.75 average) and two touchdowns to lead the Vikings to a victory.
A second half offensive explosion that included four goals led the Ottawa University men’s soccer team to a 6-3 win at Saint Mary. Ottawa led 2-1 heading into halftime, but Ottawa owned the second half as both offenses came to life.
The Central Heights cross country teams experienced a different kind of week. The junior varsity and middle school runners competed Thursday at Prairie View, while the high school varsity runners competed Saturday in the large Rim Rock Classic.
