The West Franklin baseball team is attempting to reload the roster with new talent and compete at a high level.The Falcons return two starters in junior Gunnar McMahon and sophomore Chandler Scott.“We return several players who saw some varsity time or who had a spot start here and there,” West Franklin coach Daniel Waggoner said.McMahon earned first team all-league honors last season as an infielder.“He also was a huge part of the pitching rotation, as well as one of the best offensive weapons from last year,” Waggoner said.Scott was an outfielder and catcher for the Falcons last season.“Chandler is also one of the most competitive players I’ve had,” Waggoner said.Other returners include, sophomores Zeek Dowd, Brig Corwine, and Maverick Moody; Juniors, Linden Harmon and Wyatt McCullough; and seniors, Walker New, Beckham Moody, and Damein Fischer.
